Arnetta and The Mirror of Destiny by Jeannie Chambers
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
A great YA book with fun details for anyone born early 90s and earlier.
There’s a good balance of humor, drama, and adventure.
Arnetta can be kind of heartless and self absorbed. The more obsessed she gets with the mirror the more her bad traits show. Being rude to her friend Amy, using her and Craig a boy she likes for car rides whenever she wants. Even when something happens to L.M she’s focused not on his well-being but what he saw in the mirror. Annoying.
Though I found the main character to be annoying at times her sweet nature made me want the best for her and find myself interested in learning more about her life after the book was over.
This is a good light read. I have questions remaining unanswered. If there’s a sequel I would read it.
