She Sees Glory

During 17^th century Africa, seven pirate colonies live in peace and abundant riches. Like all good things, these times of prosperity and peace are tested. Asha has spent her life in the riches of one of the seven colonies. Asha is a telepath and one of the fiercest warriors of the land. Proud and confident with her own crew, Asha knows the world is at her fingertips.

The first sign of dark times approaching disrupts her life. Strange people emerge upon the shores. The arrival of the strangers brings along a new evil rumored to stalk the forests. A catlike monster has been seen. People are dying. Terror spreads as unexplained deaths sweep the land.

Asha is cast in the middle of it all. She is desperate to discover this new creature and keep her people safe, but distractions await at every turn. Chief among them is Tahir, one of the strangers. She is immediately drawn to him. Desire threatens to throw all into disarray. Struggling to stay focused, Asha stumbles upon a terrible secret threatening to damn them all. Asha soon finds herself in not only a fight for her people, but a fight for her life. Darkness overwhelms them, but Asha sees glory in the mist of troubles.
